1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by Shangazi Online ("we," "us," or "our"), a technology services business operating from Tala, Machakos, Kenya. By engaging any of our services — whether in person, remotely, or through our digital platforms — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. General Terms Applicable to All Services
- All service engagements require the client to provide accurate and complete information about the issue, device, or system in question.
- Shangazi Online reserves the right to decline any service request at its discretion.
- Clients are responsible for backing up all data before any service is performed. Shangazi Online shall not be held liable for data loss arising from repair, maintenance, or any other service.
- Payment terms will be agreed upon before any paid service is commenced. Shangazi Online does not guarantee specific outcomes unless expressly stated in writing.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
3. Category 1 — On-Site IT Services
(Computer Repair & Maintenance, Hardware Installation, Virus Removal, Printer Setup, On-Site Troubleshooting)
Service Scope
On-site services are limited to the tasks agreed upon at the time of booking. Additional issues discovered during a visit may be quoted and addressed separately.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure a safe and accessible working environment for our technician. Hazardous conditions, lack of power supply, or inaccessibility may result in rescheduling at the client's cost.
Diagnosis vs. Repair
A diagnostic assessment does not guarantee that a repair will be carried out in the same visit. Complex repairs may require the device to be retained for a period agreed with the client.
Virus Removal
While we take every precaution, virus removal does not guarantee that a device is 100% free of all malware after service. We strongly recommend regular antivirus updates and safe browsing habits. Shangazi Online is not liable for reinfection after service.
Warranty on Repairs
Where replacement parts are sourced by Shangazi Online, a 30-day limited warranty applies to those parts only. Labour warranty covers the specific task performed for 14 days. Warranty is void if the device is tampered with by a third party after service.
Liability Limitation
Shangazi Online is not liable for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, or damage arising from the client's misuse of a device before or after service.

Booking cancellations, rescheduling, and refund terms for on-site visits and completed repairs are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Category 2 — Remote & Managed IT Services
(Remote Technical Support, Network Monitoring, Email Management, Managed IT, Data Backup)
Remote Access
To deliver remote support, Shangazi Online may require temporary access to your device or network. This access is strictly limited to the agreed service task. You grant this access voluntarily and may revoke it at any time. All remote sessions are conducted with your knowledge and consent.
Network Monitoring
Managed monitoring services are provided under a separate service agreement. Shangazi Online will not access, read, or disclose the content of your communications or files unless required by Kenyan law or with your explicit consent.
Email Management
Email management services involve access to your email account(s) for configuration, filtering, or support purposes only. We do not read, store, or disclose your private email content.
Data Backup Services
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure backups are created and stored securely. However, Shangazi Online does not guarantee the complete restoration of data in all circumstances. Clients are encouraged to maintain independent copies of critical data.
Service Availability
Remote and managed services are provided during agreed business hours. Emergency support outside these hours may be available at additional cost.
Termination of Managed Services
Either party may terminate a managed services agreement with 30 days' written notice. Outstanding fees are payable upon termination. Refund treatment of fees already paid is set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Category 3 — Digital Products & Platforms
(Online Training Courses, IT Certification Programs, SaaS, Cybersecurity Platforms, Templates/Guides, Subscription Portals)
Digital Products
All digital products — including templates, guides, manuals, and training materials — are sold as-is. Once downloaded or accessed, digital products are non-refundable unless the product is proven to be materially defective. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for full details and exceptions.
Intellectual Property
All content, courses, templates, and materials created by Shangazi Online are the intellectual property of Shangazi Online. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use them. You may not resell, redistribute, copy, or modify our materials without written permission.
Subscriptions
Subscription-based services (support portals, SaaS tools, monitoring platforms) are billed on the cycle stated at sign-up. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods. Certification Programs
Certificates issued by Shangazi Online are awarded upon genuine completion of the relevant program. Shangazi Online does not guarantee that its certifications are recognised by any specific third-party employer or institution, unless expressly stated.
SaaS & Platform Access
We reserve the right to update, modify, or temporarily suspend access to any platform for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our platforms for any unlawful purpose, to distribute harmful content, to attempt unauthorised access to systems, or to reverse-engineer any software or tool we provide.
6. Category 4 — Community Training (Free Programmes)
(Free Hands-On Computer Repair & Maintenance Trainings)
Nature of Service
Community training sessions are provided free of charge as a public benefit initiative. They are not governed by a commercial service agreement.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
Free training is provided in good faith on an as-available basis. Shangazi Online does not guarantee specific skill outcomes, employment outcomes, or certification from free community sessions.
Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Shangazi Online reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts sessions or behaves in a manner harmful to others.
Equipment
Shangazi Online may provide equipment for use during training sessions. Participants are responsible for any damage caused by misuse. Devices must not be removed from the training venue.
Liability
Shangazi Online is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during or as a result of attendance at free community training sessions. Attendance is at the participant's own risk.
Scheduling
Free sessions are subject to availability and may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time. Shangazi Online will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of changes.
7. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling across all of our service categories are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it before booking a service or making a purchase.
9. Changes to These Terms
Shangazi Online reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
