Who We Are
Shangazi Online is a Tala, Machakos-based IT services company dedicated to making technology accessible, understandable, and useful for individuals, small businesses, and communities across Kenya.
The idea for Shangazi Online was conceptualized during the Covid-19 pandemic — a period that exposed, more than ever, just how critical digital access and literacy had become. As lockdowns took hold and the world shifted online, many people in Tala and surrounding areas were left behind — without devices, without internet skills, and without support. It was in that moment of crisis that the vision for Shangazi Online was born: to bridge the digital gap from the ground up, starting right here at home.
What started as informal, backyard computer repairs and one-on-one tech guidance has grown into a structured IT services business. From fixing a neighbour's laptop on a weekend to managing small business networks and delivering online training programs, every step has been driven by the same conviction: that no one should be left behind by technology.
The name "Shangazi Online" carries the vision — a future where these services scale beyond the backyard, beyond Tala, and into a fully digital platform serving Kenya and beyond. That journey is underway.
